POOR DEVIL

On his 666th month, Stan, the son of the Devil and the Antichrist is destined to wipe out humanity. Accompanied by his godfather Mephisto, a cat-like soul-buying demon, and his cousin, the she-devil Samael, he travels to New York for this diabolical mission. They share an apartment in the mythical Dakota Building, where Stan was born, and together they must organize Armageddon while having the most absurd adventures in the big city. But Stan doesn’t really want to destroy the world, his greatest desire is to find love and success as a singer and actor on Broadway.

Most of the episodes feature musical numbers performed by the main characters throughout the series, many of which are in the style of classic American musicals. In the final episode of the season, Armageddon becomes a musical, and it is the episode in which the most care was put into composing the numbers and writing the lyrics. The series’ soundtrack is classical in style, using mostly orchestration, except for episode nº 7 “Goenlandia”, a dramatic spin-off far removed from the rest of the series in aesthetics, script, and plot, for which a special soundtrack with textures, synthetic sounds, and drones was composed.
