Carlos Ferrer presents ‘Verdadero o Falso’, a very popular TV quiz show. His appearance in the proclamation of Carzuelo de la Frontera, dressed as the Virgen del Cierzo and disguised as an Easter procession, arouses the indignation of the whole town and he is charged with a crime of religious offense. The judge, a devotee of the Virgin of his village and also a “costalero”, sentences him to a term of imprisonment. For two years and a day, Carlos must adapt to his new life in prison.

The production company’s brief was to compose and produce the theme song for the competition, as well as an a cappella version sung by the prisoners in a funny scene from the series in which they recreate the TV competition with the few means at their disposal.
